Story: A sluggish tale, the story is set on the backdrop of a hill station Ganga. Here lives the beautiful Aranya (ayesha) a single and she manages a watch shop. One day, a stranger by the name of Andy (rannvijay) comes at her store to get his watch repaired. His soft spoken and shy nature strikes a chord with Aranya. Meanwhile, Andy keeps visiting the store almost every other day with some pretext or other. As expected, Aranya starts getting comfortable with him and in no time, they fall in love. However, there is a past behind Andy. Who is he and what happens once his identity is revealed forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:  The director has come up with a matured storyline and while the presentation was neat, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were sensible. The script was written well but the screenplay got elongated at key points. Background score was average and the songs were disappointing. Cinematography was the best among the lot. Editing was decent but it was required during the second half. Costumes were natural and well designed while the art department was suiting the moods. Rannvijay comes with a revealing performance and makes a strong impact. Ayesha Takia looks awesome and even shines with her performance. Raghubir Yadav was impressive. Tanvi Azmi was effective. Anant Mahadevan was apt. The others were okay.
Conclusion:
Given the brand name of Nagesh Kukunoor, the expectations are high. As such, this is meant to be a remake of the Taiwanese film Keeping Watch. While the first half goes smoothly and sets good expectations at the interval bang, things begin to spiral down during the second half and by the time the climax comes, the audience loses interest. The key setback for the film is the dragged scenes and the time it takes to reach the end. At the box office, this might have a good opening but returns would be average.
