Story:
An okay tale, the story begins with Badri (allu arjun) who is groomed as a great warrior by a big guru Bheeshma Narayana (prakash raj). Badri's job is to protect the great Badrinath shrine. Bheeshma sees a successor in Badri but the condition is that he must remain a bachelor throughout his life. However, the story takes a turn with the arrival of Alakananda (tamannah) who doesn't believe in god. She is being chased by the powerful Sarkar (kelly). In no time, few situations happen and Alakananda falls in love with Badri. Is she successful in her love story? Why is Sarkar chasing Alakananda? Does Badri fulfil his guru's dream? All this forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:The director has come up with an appealing storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was predictable. The dialogues were stable, the script was average and the screenplay was having few loopholes. Background score was nice but only two songs were upto the mark. Cinematography was good but not that exceptional. Editing was crisp. Costumes were moderate while the art department was rich and matching the situations. Allu Arjun has come up with a committed performance and he looked fit for the role. Tamannah was a visual delight and she has come up with some bold skin show, she will enthral all with her glamour. Prakashraj was standard. Kelly Dorjee was weak. Ashwini Khalsekar was below average. Brahmi was brief, Krishna Bhagawan was casual, the others did their bit as required.
Conclusion:
Though the film came in with a lot of hype and publicity, as such it doesn't really meet the expectations. The flaw lies in the direction and lack of depth in critical scenes. While the first half goes about with very light comedy and action sequences, the second half gets serious and has the regular dose of melodrama. Overall, the film is good in technical and production values but a gripping narration with good dose of comedy and entertainment would have taken it to a new level. At the box office, this will be an average grosser.
