Story:
A well knit tale, the story begins with the childhood friends Chandu (siddarth) and Siri (shruti) and they share everything under the sun. Many think both are in love looking at their closeness. Chandu wants to become a rock singer. His life takes a turn when he meets Ritu (hansika) and falls in love with her. After some trials, he finally manages to get her. On the other hand, Siri convinces her parents and gets engaged to Uday (navadeep). The time comes when all four meet but the intimacy of Chandu and Siri tends to cause friction. They are faced with an unusual situation of deciding about their friendship or love. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:
The director has come up with a soulful storyline and while the presentation was appealing, the narrative was smooth though not engaging at all points. The dialogues were matured. The script was written well and the screenplay was upto the mark. Background score was very nice and all the songs were impressive. Cinematography was excellent. The locations were good for songs. Editing was crisp. Costumes were stylish and trendy while the art department was rich. Siddarth has come up with an energetic performance and he fits the bill perfectly. Shruti was equally good and performs well. Hansika looks sweet but she should work on her figure. Navadeep was natural and made his presence felt. Bharani was excellent. Sana was standard. The others did their bit as required.
Conclusion:
This is a film which is meant for the youth and the regular phase of confusions and dilemma they go through. The fine line between friendship and romance is explained very well and while the first half goes on a lighter note, the second half gets heavy with emotions and sensitive situation. The climax part was melodramatic. The film was more of an emotional treat and the element of comedy was not strong. At the box office, this will appeal to the youth audience and it could be a profit grosser.
