Story:  A good tale gone bad, the story begins with the honest and tough cop Rowthiran (parthepan) who is an ACP and that too a tough one. He ends up wiping out all criminals and maintains a strict code of conduct. During one such mission, he is spotted by Mary (poorna) who works at a call center. She becomes a witness to the killing but after a while she discovers the reason behind Rowthiran's actions and falls in love with him. Meanwhile, Rowthiran is keen on nabbing the notorious gangster (milind soman) but is not able to. What happens in the end forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:  The director has come up with an action packed storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was inconsistent. The dialogues were very good. The script was predictable and the screenplay was effective. Background score was nice but songs were not impressive. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was a bit jerky, during the second half. Costumes were natural and apt while the art department made its presence felt. Parthepan stole the show and he was in almost every frame of the film. Poorna fits the bill as the bubbly girl and scores. Milind Soman was marvellous and he looks perfect as the bad guy. Krishnamoorthy was good. The others didn't have much scope.
Conclusion:  Lately, there has been an increase in the tough cop movies but with the presence of Parthepan, many expected it to be somewhat different. However, that didn't happen and while the first half looked very promising and had good share of twists and turns, it is the second half that loses the steam and becomes monotonous at one point. Overall, the film would have scored a major success if the script was worked properly for the second half. At the box office, the film might turn out to be an average grosser
