Story:
A fast paced tale, the story begins in Chennai and here come two youngsters from a village Ilankumaran (sasi kumar) and Nallavan (Allari Naresh). Both manage to find residence in the home of Pulikutty (kanja karuppu) and eventually get a job in a petrol bunk. Kumaran and Nallavan go out of their way to help people and they get good name in their locality. In no time, Bharathy (swati), a junior dancer begins to like Kumaran and he also reciprocates. The story takes a turn when a gang of people arrive from a village and they start chasing Kumaran and Nallavan. Who are those people? Why are they chasing these two? All this forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:  The director has come up with a realistic storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative got slow in few places. The script was well written and the screenplay was efficient. Background score was strong but only one song was impressive. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was required, especially during the second half. Costumes were natural and rustic while the art department was appealing. Sasi Kumar comes up with a riveting performance and he shoulders the film very well. Allari Naresh was equally good and he supports Sasi Kumar very well. Swathi scores the brownie points with her energy levels and expressions. Vasundhara was neat. Kanja Karuppu brought few smiles. Jayaprakash makes his presence felt. Parotta Soori was funny. The others did their bit as required and added value.
Conclusion:
The film comes across with a typical flavour that is expected from this banner. While the first half goes in a light hearted manner and has good jokes, it is the second half that takes a serious turn and the flashback episodes are shown. However, the momentum which was there in the first half was not sustained in the second half and few scenes give you a clichéd feeling. But still, there are those flashes of brilliance. Overall, this is a film that will work with the B, C centres and commercial success is looking strong
