Story:  An entertaining tale, the story begins with Ajay (mahesh) a tough and honest cop who is out to get the bad guys. His father Shankar Narayan (prakash raj) is a very noble and highly regarded person among the masses. However, his enemies (kota, supreeth, sayaji shinde) plan and attack him. They think he is dead. But he is rescued and he keeps recovering. Meanwhile, Ajay is given the task to locate the dreaded mafia don Naik (sonu sood). Incidentally, even Naik is also linked to the condition of Shankar Narayana. The story takes a turn when Ajay gets to know about what exactly happened to his father. He decides to take revenge on all those who are responsible and what happens from there forms the rest of the story. Presentation: The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was neat, the narrative was strong. The dialogues were the highlight and they are very entertaining, the script was well written and the screenplay was apt. Background score was good and almost all the songs were hummable. Cinematography was effective. Editing was regular. Costumes were stylish while the art department was appealing and rich. Mahesh Babu has given a thunderbolt performance and he rocks with his looks and performance. Samantha was sweet but not enough meat in her role. Same problem for Sonu Sood as well, though he looks stylish he was not able to give that villainy. Brahmanandam was outstanding. M S Narayana was hilarious. Vennela Kishore was good. Sonia was okay. Nasser was natural. Tanikella, Chandramohan and other padding artistes did well. Don't' Miss Parvathi Melton and her item song, she was simply superb. Conclusion:  Yet again, the maker has come up with his standard formula but still he manages to engage the audience with good dose of humour. While the first half goes in various directions and creates an unrest, it is the second half which really makes up for all the hiccups and goes breezily. Despite the length of the film, there is enough comedy and entertainment which carries the audience. At the box office, this will appeal to Mahesh Babu fans, family audiences. Story:   A dull tale, the story begins on the backdrop of Tuni and here lives a big businessman Babu Naidu (prakash bharadwaj). In his house is a servant maid Abhi (divya) who takes care of all household works and also goes to college for studies. At college, Abhi comes across Kiran (nandu) and both fall in love. However, Babu Naidu thrashes anyone who looks at Abhi. Knowing his power, both Abhi and Kiran decide to run and get married. They are finally caught and brought to Tuni. Babu Naidu announces that Abhi will marry his son. What happens after that forms the rest of the story. Presentation:   The director has come up with a usual storyline and while the presentation was okay, the narrative was not that strong. The dialogues were average, the script was written okay and the screenplay was apt. Background score was good and not all the songs were hummable. Cinematography was effective. Editing was regular. Costumes were natural while the art department was appealing. Nandu does his best to give a good performance but he is just okay. Divya Nagesh was very good and expressive though her looks are not that great. Prakash Bharadwaj was adequate. Krishnudu does his bit as required in cameo. Krishna Bhagawan and Dharmavarapu came with routine comedy. Yendamuri was not upto the mark. The others didn't have any scope to offer. Conclusion: Stories of teenage love and the interference of elders are age old so it takes good screenplay and good dose of comedy to pack the film. However, that didn't happen here. Most of the scenes were predictable and there no novelty in the subject. While the first half goes about with the elements of comedy and romance, the second half is all about the melodrama and sentiment. Overall, this is a film with below average technical values and so-so performances. Success at box office is ruled out. Download this torrent

Story:  A morose tale, the story begins with Chakri (shyam) who is in love with the Hindi girl Sohini (priyamani) but their elders agree for it and they get married. Chakri's father (aditya) is from a aristocratic family and he takes Chakri-Sohini to pay respects to the grave of his elder brother Narasimha Rayalu (jagapathi babu) and Naga Penchalamma (priyamani). The story takes a turn when Penchalamma's spirit rises and enters Sohini. The spirit then kills Chakri's father and this leads Chakri to approach a guru. It is here that the flashback opens and roots to how Narasimha Rayalu and Penchalamma are determined to set up the idol of Narasimha Swamy in a temple. What happens after that forms the rest of the story. Presentation:  The director has come up with a decent storyline and while the presentation was poor, the narrative was very weak. The dialogues were stale and over the top at times, the script was written with weak efforts and the screenplay was below average. Background score was bad and songs were poor. Cinematography was pathetic. Editing was irregular. Costumes were regular while the art department was apt. Jagapathi Babu carried out his role as required and tried his best to get some energy into the film. Priyamani also does her bit to infuse life into her character but in vain. Aditya Menon was better among all. Brahmanandam was annoying. Kota was good. Tanikella Bharani was nice. The others were there to fill the screen.  Conclusion:  The film came in with a lot of hype and there was also a reference that Priyamani's role was the highlight. While the hype was good, the film actually fails to deliver the goods. Both the first half and second half didn't have any point where the film's graph could have picked up. The key reason for the film going down is poor direction and weak technical values. Overall, this is a film that looks set to go down as a dud at the box office.

New Year's Eve 2011 English Movie Free Download Torrent

Is it possible to make a film with so many characters played by big stars that each looks like they are doing a cameo and yet make the film watchable? "New Year's Eve" attempts just that and though there may not be anything original in it, its sweetness and warmth pulls the film through.

As New York city eagerly awaits the annual ball-drop at Times Square on New Year's Eve, different characters' lives and actions collide and end in a joyous New Year for all.

There are films that have attempted to play multiple stories at the same time. While most of them have three to four stories intertwined with one another, "New Year's Eve" attempts to weave together eight stories in two hours.

The result may not be a masterpiece but it holds together well with some witty dialogues, some genuinely funny moments and the warmth of hope that tugs at your heart during festive seasons.

Of course, the main problem you'd find is that none of the stories or their resolution smacks of even a bit of originality. But that does not matter as it is a feel-good film whose only goal is to put you in the holiday mood.

The other issue with the film is that because of so many stories, it is tough to 'show-don't-tell' - the basic rule of any good art. Thus, for example, you hear from the character of Robert De Niro about what a prick was. You don't have time to actually experience it in his actions. This does seem a little jarring, but not unbearably so.

Fans of the many stars who share screen space in the film would be disappointed by how underutilised they all are.

While you are glad that Jon Bon Jovi does not have a bigger role for he cannot act for the life of his, you are sad that De Niro, Halle Berry, Hillary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jessica Biel among others are so underutilised.

Thus, while you get involved in one story, another pops along - which sometimes disturbs your rhythm. But it's a good hearted, moral, family film which you will enjoy if you watch without any expectation.

Visually, two things that instantly transcend the immediate boundaries of a viewer's intellect to land straight inside are sex and violence. Thus brands that can no longer appeal to your intellect, or are too lazy to try, resort to either or both. That brand can either be a product or a movie star.

This is indeed a trend observed among male movie stars. Ageing stars, who no longer have the confidence of their youth, resort to movies that have an overdose of sex and violence. If you have followed Tom Cruise's selection of films lately, you would have observed an over-reliance on action at the cost of other factors. "Mission Impossible 4" is no different.

He unabashedly stays within the confines of done-to-death cliches to give you not a film, but a roughly stitched collage of some very well done action sequences. Thus, what is sacrificed at this altar of dreary cliches are story, characterization, plot, subplots... basically everything that makes a film a fun watch.

The story of "Ghost Protocol" is simpler than the elaborate charades you made up as kids. Smoked out of a Russian prison, Ethan Hunt and his renegade team, have to hunt down a Russian scientist with launch codes for nuclear warheads and save the world.

Along the way there are some lame dialogues, some pretences at making up subplots and a star way past his prime, trying desperately to hold on to the action genre like his character hangs to the ledge of a building.

After seeing "Ghost Protocol" as a discerning viewer, you'll realize that Tom Cruise has lost the plot, figuratively and literally. All his recent films have been shoddy excuses in the name of cinema, but had very good action. The Church of Scientology does not seem to be helping our star. He needs to enroll himself in the church of cinema.

The action scenes do not disappoint. They are elaborately conceptualized, beautifully shot and adeptly edited to make you sit at the edge of your seat. Tom Cruise might have forgotten other things, but he hasn't forgotten the art of choosing the best action team in the industry.

The film thus ends up being a never-ending action ride from the windows of the world's tallest building, to the tunnel under the world's worst prison to the streets of Mumbai and into a parking lot apparently located in India, but which you know will not exist in the country for the next few decades.

If you want to watch the film for it being shot in India, and for Anil Kapoor, you'll be sorely disappointed. Only two minutes of actual India make it to the film. The other shots thought to be filmed in the country, have actually been shot in Indian localities of North America. Kapoor barely has a few minutes' role as a lecherous business tycoon. It's not enough either for his fans or his detractors.

The mission impossible for a star is thus actually mission simple. If you indeed choose to accept mission stardom you get to date beautiful women, hobnob with the richest men and pretend as if your existence mattered. Sadly, cinema, in such pursuit of name and fame, becomes a necessary evil to be shot, chased and exploded out of a film just like its villains.

Story: A well knit tale, the story begins with the death of Vaishali (sindhu) and that too in one of the posh localities. This calls for the cops and the team led by honest and smart cop Vasu (Aadhi) gets into the investigation. He realizes that this is not a natural death and begins doing his enquiries. This also gets Vaishali's husband Bala (nandaa) into the list of suspects and much to the shock of Vasu, there are few more murders that have actually taken place in the same apartment. One more twist is that Vasu and Vaishali were lovers once upon a time. What is deemed to be a crime story filled with murders turns out to be something more than that. What happens from there, go to the theatres and watch it. Presentation: The director has come up with a splendid storyline and along with a gripping narrative, the presentation was perfect. The dialogues were neat, the script was not having flaws and the screenplay was top notch. Background score was impressive and played with the moods while the cinematography was mesmerizing. The only setback was the editing which was missing during the second half. Costumes were apt and the art department made its presence felt strongly. Aadhi was a revelation with a complete changeover and he did his bit well, Sindhu looked sensuous and she carried out her role well. Nandaa was neat, Rajasekhar was standard, Saranya Mohan was apt, Srinath was neat, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan was convincing. The others did their bit as required. Conclusion: 　 The film takes off as a crime story but then the way the twists unfold gives a creepy feeling by the end of it. This happens to be the dubbed version of the Tamil film Eeram which was a huge hit two years ago. While the first half goes about with the building of the plot and takes the audience to the peak, the second half stutters due to few unwanted drag sequences but then it culminates to an interesting climax making the audience get to the edge of the seat. The film impresses due to the technical side of it and also due to the depth in the content with good twists. This one will impress the youth and horror lovers and also for those who like some variety. Download this torrent

The Story
" 'The Adventures of Tintin' derives mainly from three World War II-era books, 'The Crab With the Golden Claws,' 'The Secret of the Unicorn' and 'Red Rackham's Treasure.' These titles mean a great deal to Tintin's European fan base — the film has already made close to a quarter-billion dollars overseas — and less so to the average American multiplex visitor. The script, by Steven Moffat and the team of Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish follows Tintin (who looks either 12, 22 or somewhere in between) and his faithful dog Snowy as they come into possession of a model sailing ship, the Unicorn, containing a clue to the whereabouts of a vast treasure. Kidnapped and bundled on board a steamship commanded by the career alcoholic Capt. [Andy] Serkis ('King Kong,' 'The Lord of the Rings') nonetheless manages to turn Haddock into what will surely be the trilogy's most memorable personage, while [Jamie] Bell ('Billy Elliot') makes Tintin about as interesting as he can be, which is to say sometimes less so than his dog." — 

The Final Word

"Though the acting is uniformly strong, the story just isn't engrossing, particularly for those not familiar with Tintin comics. There are a few spectacular scenes, such as a biplane flying into a lightning storm and a crash-landing in the Sahara, but the thrills are sporadic. Chases abound but none is breathtaking. ... While Dakshinamoorthy wants to donate the land to senior citizens, Chidambaram wants to give that land to minister Sana (ranganayaki) and enter politics. In comes another bad man Abdul Kathir (pradeep rawath) to complicate things. How does Murugan deal with all this forms the rest of the story. Presentation:  The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was fast paced. The dialogues were charged up, the script was written with commercial value and screenplay was apt. Background score was good and songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was regular. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was suiting the moods. Vikram steals the show right from start to finish, he looks handsome. Deeksha was a visual feast and does her bit. The real showstealer was K Vishwanath who gives a riveting performance. Ranganayaki was good, Pradeep Rawat was regular, Thambi Ramaiah was neat, Avinash was average. Conclusion:  As such, the film doesn't have anything novel or creative but it is the way the film has been packaged and the performances that add great strength. While the first half goes about on a lighter mode with elements of comedy, romance and action, it is the second half that gets serious with various twists. Overall, this is a film which is meant for time pass entertainment and masala for two and half hours. At the box office, it will land smoothly in profit zone.   Download this torrent

Story:  An intense tale, the story is about Karthik (dhanush) who is an ace photographer and his only goal is to becomes the best in his profession. He chooses to become a wildlife photographer. However, Karthik is quite a loner and his company is his good friend Sundar (sundar). His life takes a turn when he is introduced to Yamini (richa), a strong and independent girl. But as expected, both tend to have lot of fights due to their contrasting nature. However, at one point, they suddenly realize the love they have for each other. What happens after that forms the rest of the story. Presentation:  The director has come up with an entertaining storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was gripping. The dialogues were strong at places. The script was well written and the screenplay was capturing. Background score was strong and three songs were impressive. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was crisp, especially during the second half. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was colorful. Dhanush steals the show right from the start and he gives a commendable performance. Richa looks ravishing and most of her thoughts are expressed through her eyes. Sundar was another valuable contribution. The others did their bit as required and added value. Conclusion:  Though the concept is routine, it is the way the script was handled and the emotional feel that is there throughout. While the first half goes on a lighter mode with elements of comedy and romance, the second half is equally gripping with a touch of sentiment and emotion. Overall, this is a film which will strike a chord with today's generation and the depth of feelings is something commendable. At the box office, the film has the right ingredients to score success.. 'Rajapattai', which means 'the path of the king', has turned out to be a poor show in terms of story, script and performances. Director Suseenthiran, known for presenting films with different themes, has failed to impress with his new offering.

The story, script, romance, item song, the characterisation - everything has been poorly conceived and executed. The stunts by Anal Arasu and the cinematography by Madhie are the only saving grace for the film. Not even Vikram's charming presence could save the film.

'Rajapattai' is another hero-centric film. Vikram, with his toned physique, dons different get-ups and handles the fighting sequences stylishly. But his efforts fail to make any impact as the script has no life in it.

Anal Murugan (Vikram) is a gym boy who acts as stuntman in cinema and dreams of becoming a villain on screen. He meets a noble-hearted but helpless Dakshinamoorthy (K Viswanath) and saves him from the clutches of his own son Chidambaram (Avinash), who wants to grab his father's assets to get political mileage.

Chidambaram wants to gift land to Ranganayaki (Sana), a minister and a land mafia, who promises to make him an MLA in return. But Dakshinamoorthy doesn't want to give his land, as he runs an orphanage in that place. Ranganayaki manages to deceive the old man despite Murugan's resistance.

Murugan is now determined to get the land back. He is ready to fight with the politician come what may. But there is another powerful person called Vappa (Pradeep Rawat), acting as the brain behind Ranganayaki. Vappa is the most dreaded underworld person, but Murugan is ready for the challenge.

The rest of the movie shows how the hero fulfills the mission. Everything is predictable -- so there's no suspense, no brilliance and no thrills.

Vikram tries his best to lift the movie, but the script didn't give him much scope. His get-ups and satirical act are good, but they don't add anything to the fare.

Beautiful looking Deeksha Seth gets a forgettable role in her debut movie in Tamil, while K Viswanath ensures some interesting moments. Sana is impressive in her maiden outing in a stereotype role.

Suseenthiran made his debut with "Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu", which was critically acclaimed. Then he proved his credentials as a commercial director in "Nan Mahaahn Alla", followed by an off-beat movie "Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai" which was also received well.

Unfortunately, 'Rajapattai' has turned out to be a poor show, and the director is to be blamed. He had a good storyline, and a hero with proven credentials. But he failed to make use of them.

Overall, 'Rajapattai' is a tiring ride on an improper road

Story:  A well presented sequel, the story begins again with Don (SRK) who surrenders himself at the Malaysian prison. There is a reason for that. He wants to join hands with Vardhaman (boman irani) for a mission. That is to extract the plates from DCB, the German bank which are used to print the currency. Both escape from prison and Don is now chased by Interpol officer Roma (priyanka) who is still in love with him. Don gets in touch with Dewan (alyy khan), the VP of the bank for his plan. The mission begins but then it is not all over without some betrayals, deceit and of course, a love that still remains. What happens in all this forms the rest of the story. Presentation:  The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was engaging. The dialogues were charged up, the script was written with good research and the screenplay was apt. Background score was good and songs were upto the mark. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was regular. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was suiting the moods. Shahrukh Khan has come up with an exceptional performance, his cool and suave style is appealing. Priyanka Chopra is more matured and contained. Boman Irani made his presence felt. Kunal Kapoor was decent. Nawab Shah is a revelation, he should get more chances. Both Lara Dutta and Om Puri were not used to their fullest. Alyy Khan was appealing. The others didn't have much scope to contribute. Conclusion:  The film happens to be a sequel and it takes off in a smooth fashion. The best part of the film are the locations and the taking. It is slick and visually appealing. While the first half goes on a mild note, the real tempo picks up during the second half and one gets a feeling of a Hollywood style action thriller. It is five years since the first part came and there is a lot of evolution in terms of script handling and the performances. Overall, this is a film which should be watched for its style and elegance.
