Rajapattai 2011 Tamil Movie Free Download Torrent
Film: "Rajapattai"
Cast: Vikram, Deeksha Seth, K Viswanath, Mithra Kurian, Pradeep Rawat; Director: Suseenthiran; Producer: PVP Cinemas; Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja;
Rating: **
'Rajapattai', which means 'the path of the king', has turned out to be a poor show in terms of story, script and performances. Director Suseenthiran, known for presenting films with different themes, has failed to impress with his new offering.
The story, script, romance, item song, the characterisation - everything has been poorly conceived and executed. The stunts by Anal Arasu and the cinematography by Madhie are the only saving grace for the film. Not even Vikram's charming presence could save the film.
'Rajapattai' is another hero-centric film. Vikram, with his toned physique, dons different get-ups and handles the fighting sequences stylishly. But his efforts fail to make any impact as the script has no life in it.
Anal Murugan (Vikram) is a gym boy who acts as stuntman in cinema and dreams of becoming a villain on screen. He meets a noble-hearted but helpless Dakshinamoorthy (K Viswanath) and saves him from the clutches of his own son Chidambaram (Avinash), who wants to grab his father's assets to get political mileage.
Chidambaram wants to gift land to Ranganayaki (Sana), a minister and a land mafia, who promises to make him an MLA in return. But Dakshinamoorthy doesn't want to give his land, as he runs an orphanage in that place. Ranganayaki manages to deceive the old man despite Murugan's resistance.
Murugan is now determined to get the land back. He is ready to fight with the politician come what may. But there is another powerful person called Vappa (Pradeep Rawat), acting as the brain behind Ranganayaki. Vappa is the most dreaded underworld person, but Murugan is ready for the challenge.
The rest of the movie shows how the hero fulfills the mission. Everything is predictable -- so there's no suspense, no brilliance and no thrills.
Vikram tries his best to lift the movie, but the script didn't give him much scope. His get-ups and satirical act are good, but they don't add anything to the fare.
Beautiful looking Deeksha Seth gets a forgettable role in her debut movie in Tamil, while K Viswanath ensures some interesting moments. Sana is impressive in her maiden outing in a stereotype role.
Yuvan Shankar Raja disappoints with his songs.
Suseenthiran made his debut with "Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu", which was critically acclaimed. Then he proved his credentials as a commercial director in "Nan Mahaahn Alla", followed by an off-beat movie "Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai" which was also received well.
Unfortunately, 'Rajapattai' has turned out to be a poor show, and the director is to be blamed. He had a good storyline, and a hero with proven credentials. But he failed to make use of them.
Overall, 'Rajapattai' is a tiring ride on an improper road

Mouna Guru 2011 Tamil Movie Free Download Torrent
More and more cliched Masala from the A-league actors and very few films manage to come up with brilliant stories in hand and indeed showcased their adeptness. Say for instance, ‘Kattradhu Kalavu’, ‘Ali Baba’, ‘Aaranya Kaandam’, etc, etc… were more off that genres. These films didn’t perform well, but were standouts as taut thrillers.
To start off with, ‘Mouna Guru’ falls into this category and its filmmaker Santhakumar kick-starting his directorial venture with this film. Indeed, it’s a promising debut and this auteur has a long way to go. Let’s rub off the statements claiming it to be an inspiration or a replica. Overall, it’s a neat work by the entire team and Arulnidhi has chosen an apt script to suit his image. Simple words to mark the verdict – Mouna Guru is an edge-on-seat thriller, though not with more twists and turns, keeps you engaged in many parts.
First 10minutes into the film, the howls and comments for not so famous league of actors is blurred. Yup! An accident followed by group of cops looting a big money. A girl with unknown identity makes a video recording of their plans through the camera, which in turn falls into the hands of another man. Unexpectedly Karunakaran (Arulnidhi), a calm student is linked to the mysterious proceedings and what unfolds next is a racy drama of combats between the characters.
Revealing more than these sentences would naturally become an absolute spoiler.
It cannot be meant that Arulnidhi has done a remarkable job, but has done what is exactly required for the role. Usually, his style of rendering dialogues stand ahead as a little minus. Over here, he remains calm throughout many portions and of course spells the best with the action sequences. Iniya looks gaudy with her makeovers. John Vijay far-famed for his ability to perform comical or villainous roles does his best here with the latter one. Though Uma Riyaaz was capable of performing such powerful roles, she hasn’t been offered such ones till the date.
What starts on a thrilling note proceeds with the same tempo till the end, but spare for few slow and sluggish moments that could have been trimmed in second hour.
Technically, the cinematography brings some best visuals and Thamman adds a depth of intensity with his background score.
Overall, it’s a worth watching movie for the pennies you pay. Don’t go for references looking out for similar tales in Hollywood or international cinemas. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the flick.

Mambattiyan (2011) Tamil Movie Free Download Torrent
Cast: Prashanth, Meera Jasmine, Prakashraj, Vadivelu
Director: Thyagarajan
'Malayur Mambattiyan', which came in the 1980s, was based on a desi Robin Hood who lived in the rural Tamil Nadu. The movie had a magical impact at the box office and in Thyagarjan's career. So Thyagarajan decided to use the same theme to give a boost to his actor son Prashanth's dwindling career, but couldn't recreted the same magic.
In the film, Mambattiyan (Prashanth) turns into a killer after his father and mother are murdered by a local bigwig (Kota Srinivasa Rao) for opposing him. In revenge, Mambattiyan kills his whole family and takes refuge in a jungle. The incident changes his life and he starts acting like a saviour by looting corrupt and greedy rich people and helping poor.
During one of his operations Mambattiyan stumbles upon beautiful Kannathal (Meera Jasmine) who is about to get married, but the groom runs off seeing Mambattiyan.
The girl is not worried as she doesn't want to marry a coward. She is instead impressed with Mambattiyan's and eventually falls in love with him.
Mambattiyan and his team are under trouble when a senior cop Ranjith (Prakashraj) enters the village with a big team to arrest him. What happens after that forms the climax of the movie.
Director Thyagarajan chose a story with proven potential. He also had a fine script and he just had to update few things and he e tried to give the movie a slick look by adding few elements. But he has grossly failed to make it appealing.
He couldn't retain the old flavour. It is predictable, tame, out-dated and slow. No single scene could be cited as well conceived or well made. Full of cliches!`
Prashanth's career is going through a bad patch following flops and his personal problems. Earlier, he worked with top directors like Mani Rathnam and Shankar and had a lot of hits under his belt.
He is well-trained in martial arts and a good dancer too. He has also proven that he could handle a variety of roles. But, of late, he lost his midas touch, thanks to poorly etched characters in poorly made films. His personal problems worsened the things and his career touched rock bottom.
He got a chance to prove his worth with this big budget movie, but failed miserably due to ill-conceived script and poor characterisation. He could not lift the character with his acting as his body language and dialogue delivery seemed rigid.
Meera Jasmine is a fine actor, but didn't get a chance to showcase her acting skills.
Mumaith Khan is impressive. Prakashraj is competent in the routine role.
Comedian Vadivelu makes a decent come back after a long hiatus.
Nothing special about Thaman's music, as two of the three songs are just repetitions of the numbers in the original. Shaji's cinematography is pretty good.
Overall, 'Mambattiyan' is out-dated and slow.

STORY
Osthi Velan (Simbu STR) is a corrupt cop who fears for nothing. He has real motives for all his actions. He robs from rich and pays the poor. He has a half-brother Balan (Githan Ramesh). Osthi Velan’s life has an affectionate mother (Revathy), a funny cop Selvam(Santhanam) around him. Velan falls in love with Neduvali (Richa Gangopadhyaya), daughter of a drunkard (VTV Ganesh). They get attracted to each other.
Osthi Velan has clashes with villain, Boxer Daniel (Sonu Sood). Both cross swords with each other. After some dance, romance and some humour, Osthi Velan eventually fights Boxer Daniel in the climax, ripping his shirt showing his six-pack abs. All ends well with the success for Osthi Velan and he enters into wedlock with his beloved.
PERFORMANCE
Simbu has done the cop role and the story revolves around him. He sings, dances, fights and even emotes. Seeing him in khaki is a delight as he is stylish and elegant. He has provided a tremendous contribution to his acting.
Richa has given right expressions. She performs with energy and does remind one of Sonakshi, who did the same role in the original.
Sonu Sood does what he did in the original movie. He leaves his impression in the movie. He, unlike villains in other Tamil films, gets a major share on-screen and utilizes the opportunity well. He gyrates and speaks from the bottom of his belly at places.
Santhanam as usual leaves a mark with his dialogues. As a funny policeman, he speaks loud but attracts.
Jithan Ramesh shares the screen with STR for the first time. He has a part to play in the script which he does well.
Mallika Sherawat does an item appearance.
Gopinath’s camera captures the movie at a right pace.
Thaman’s tune has aptly blended with Vaali’s lyrics.
Dharani’s dialogues are crisp and Nellai Tamil fits the story well. Dharani has ensured that it is a racy commercial all through with no compromise

Dhanush and Selvaraghavan's Mayakkam Enna is an emotion-filled story that shows varied feelings of a man. The filmmaker, like his past works, has not followed the current trend rather he has made the movie in his usual style. Besides writing a wonderful script, he has also taken the best out of his cast and crew. Read on for the review.
The story is simple yet complicated. Freelance photographer Karthik Subramaniam idolises acclaimed wildlife photographer Madhesh Krishnaswamy (Ravi Prasad). He wants to work under him. On the other side, he has a gang of friends with whom he loves spending time. At his juncture, he meets his friend Sundar's leading lady Yamini (Richa Gangopadhyay). Initially, Karthik and Yamini does not share a warm relationship, as most of time, they end up fighting on various things. However, things slowly starts changing after she starts liking him. The real story of a frustrated man begins unravels from now on. The rest of the story should be seen on-screen.
Selvaraghavan has wonderfully written some close-to-heart scenes. A man's guilt conscious and emotional outbursts leading to frustration are the few highlights of some touching sequences. The core strength of the subject is at the freshness of the story, portrayal of the characters and the strong emotions.
Dhanush has given an excellent performance. He brings you a feel of realism in his character. Richa Gangopadhyay is equally good to him and she has given her best to her role. Ravi Prasad has done justice to his character and rest other characters are okay. Technically, Mayakkam Enna is brilliant. While GV Prakash Kumar has given some catchy tunes, cinematographer Ramji gives a visual treat with his photography. However, the credit for bringing out the best from his team should go to Selvaraghavan. Audience can witness his style in every frame

Konjam Sirippu Konjam Kobam 2011 Tamil Movie Free Download Torrent
One stinker after another, after another. As the third film of the week opened with an item song, an exhausted and hopefully optimistic, Me, noticed the steady grasp behind the camera and decided that this one is going to be bearable. A two star rating or so. It was when I heard the line "Ippo en power theriyidha?" that an uneasy apprehension began to set in.
Konjam Siripu Konjam Kobam is an extended version of a Tamil serial. It is ridiculously fast paced. The hero is a typical do-gooder who takes the blame for something to protect the heroine and, gets held by the collar and thrown out of his house, followed by an interval that gives you time to digest it. The heroine sacrifices her love life for the sake of uniting estranged families. It is drenched in sentimentality. It's written by someone who probably suffers from black-and-white thinking. It's not hard to guess that making it must've been a mundane process.
The hero and heroine are like chalk and cheese. Have a look at the poster and you'll agree that they look like mother and son. Both actors are unsuited for the role. It's already hard to see Mahesh as anything but Lingu, the salesman in Angadi Theru. To make matters worse, he looks and acts the same in the shoes of a neglected character. The actress is channelizing the abstract Kollywood heroine and her performance comes off as a cheap imitation. It's hardly their fault. They're stuck in a real mess of a screenplay and the director's pedestrian rendition of it doesn't help either.
A few new strokes are attempted by writer-director, Sampoornam. For one, is the desperate attempt of subliminal advertising of carnatic music by letting graphic flowers fall from the sky when the heroine sings. Another, is the presence of a communal undertone. From a business point of view, this one's a smart move. But, no film ever, has worked on a single idea. A few other ideas exist in context but they're downright stupid and do little more than bemuse you.
The things that the characters do are highly consequential, but they aren't backed up by enough psychological motivation. Just add common sense to the characters and the film wouldn't have lasted this long. You can't empathize with characters that do the exact things that you pray they don't do. Comedians Sathyan and Ganja Karuppu are not even part of the same film. They're part of a different world shot elsewhere and somehow juxtaposed with the film's events to show how much of a hero the hero is. Film-maker Sampoornam has no idea what he's doing.
Konjam Siripu Konjam Kobam lives up to only the second half of its title. I could say I'm understating but the film is just too dull to provoke you any more than that.

Naan Sivanagiren Tamil movie 2011 Free Download Torrent
Banner: M N Creations
Cast: Udhaykarthik, Varsha, Aditya, Premkumar & Sugumar
Direction: Gnanasekar
Production: C K
Music: K.S.Manoj
Lyricis: Na.Muthukumar, Nishaanth & V.K.GnanashekarNaan Sivanagiren opens with a police inspector investigating a crime scene. He oozes stoic by comparing the sight of the murdered victim to drinking black coffee and abstaining from commenting on it on the pretext of keeping the media thrilled. He's back at work comparing this particular case to previous murders, deducing a pattern thus predicting the involvement of a serial killer. The audience is teleported to a house where an odd looking man is laughing at a television news reporter after being told that a murder had recently taken place. You connect the dots. This is a socially inept character named Prabhakaran (Karthik) who believes he's Sivan and takes it upon himself to murder any woman who breaches the institution of marriage.
Upon noticing a random woman, Anitha (Varsha), cuddling a stranger's baby at a bus stand, he gets aroused and follows her. Prabhakaran spends the next evening opening up to his imaginary father about what a pleasant reminder she was of him. He tries to hook up with her, but in vain. Noticing sympathy in her eyes, he sees the possibility of a pity lay. He continues to chase Anitha, literally, where he has the opportunity to save her from rapists in the middle of the act at midnight. Rapes are known to leave people traumatized. This one does more good to its victim than bad, serving as an epiphany by opening her eyes to how much she is (and has been) in love with Prabhakaran. *peppy music number alert*
The killer inside him can't hide from Anitha forever. She finds out about his alternate personality and sells him down the river. The incompetent Inspector, unable to find the killer himself, uses her help to find Prabhakaran. Instead of calling for backup, he challenges him to a fist fight. Good overpowers bad (again, with Anitha's help) and puts Prabhakaran behind bars. When asked why he committed those murders, he says he'll save it for the court- where he demands the media be present. And he narrates it to the walls of a near empty theatre. I listened though and being in luck, it was the most entertaining and hilarious part of the film. Thank you, director Gnanasekhar for making Prabhakaran's plight a big joke.
Naan Sivanagiren has a diseased heart while its brain slowly crawls up its rear end. Attempting to interbreed Kattradhu Thamizh and Anniyan only shows the feeble attempt that director Gnanasekharan is willing to make. Of course, he is a man who believes he doesn't need to do any kind of research before making a film. I should've guessed that when the opening credits had the words Costumer and Makeup man.

Watch Endhiran(2010) Tamil Movie Online
|
Well, let us get down to the task. There is nothing much to reveal about the plot of Endhiran; one supposes. Thousands of speculations, predictions and of course, a mad frenzy about the trailer has given a rough idea about the plot. Endhiran is about Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitty, his creation- the robot with a 1 Zettabyte memory and a speed of 1 Terrabyte. From then on it is a ‘Chitty showcase’, of action, dance, emotions, fun and frolic. Watch Endhiran for the experience.
The foremost thing about any Superstar film is Superstar himself. He is the air the film breathes, right from the first frame. The biggest entertainer that India has produced, weaves magic on screen; even a nonchalant saunter on screen makes theatres erupt in celebration. Watching Endhiran one feels no doubt whatsoever that no one other than Rajnikanth could have pulled off this character. It is destiny that brought Endhiran to Superstar after travelling all through Kollywood and Bollywood. He delivers a tour de force performance – he owns the film. Be it as the workaholic scientist, the obedient Chitty or the destructive Chitty (‘upgraded version – Chitty 2.0’), he scores; exuding brilliance and charisma in every frame. Yes, there are the trademark styles and mannerisms, but Rajnikanth transcends style and goes one better with Endhiran. His restraint while playing the scientist, the frustration that he shows while his scientific endeavours go wrong, underscore the fact that he is a brilliant actor who has been bogged down by commercial demands and compulsions. But, the focal point of the performance is definitely the robot. Chitty, the innocent child like robot is cute and loveable and dashing once romance starts flowing through his veins – wires. And, it is when the destroyer arrives that we see the Rajni in all his splendour. There seems to be absolutely no one who can come even close when playing a devilish destroyer. The outrageous and maniacal laugh as he proclaims his invincibility is a masterpiece – a throwback to the heydays of Rajnikanth the villain. The decades have not dimmed his brilliance and charisma one bit. And, the effort he has put into Endhiran shows in all frames; be it the fights or dance sequences; the desire to excel still burns bright. Aishwarya Rai looks ethereal as always. Though it is a bit difficult to still accept her as a college student, she delivers when it matters. Not the usual Shankar heroine (songs and dance only stuff) here, she is almost the fulcrum of the story.
Scripting wise, Endhiran does have its flaws, which is a bit disappointing. The first half is a smooth and jolly ride as the cute Chitty takes centre stage. A couple of fights set the tone for the fans to go overboard with excitement, a few lighter moment most of which are enjoyable and two songs make it a relatively light hearted affair. Shankar’s ability to write commercial Tamil cinema elements (hero rescuing damsel in distress, witty one liners etc.) into a sci-fi script is commendable. That stops Endhiran from being a pure sci-fi flick, making it apt for all class audiences. Beginning of the second half is however not an apt extrapolation of the expectations raised in the first half. Though too much does not go wrong, there are portions which one feels could have been tighter. Some sequences, especially the ‘Ranguski’ part, are dragged along for more than a reasonable length. A couple of songs follow each other in quick succession which dampens things a bit. But, if you are willing to be patient through these minor glitches, the rest of the second half is racy, action packed and intelligent.
Action, as all might now, has been the talking point of Endhiran with world famous visual effects supervisors doing the job. The sequences have been conceived by Shankar (as shown in the titles) and do not lack in awe and magnificence. Be it on the train, on the truck or the highway – action is taken to a new plane in Endhiran. As expected, logic does fly out of the window now and then, but then, what is a Superstar film if there is no suspension of belief.
As expected, technical aspects of Endhiran are top notch. Special effects are world class (except a few occasions here and there) as they have been done by the best in the business, Stan Winston Studios and Industrial Light and Magic. The sheer effort that has gone into the CGI work is humungous, be it Rajni running along the side of a train or doing a Michael Jackson jive; everything looks as original as it can get. Camera by Ratnavelu captures what Shankar has envisioned, and translates it effectively on screen. Make up, by Banu, is exceptional and has made Superstar look even more stylish than he usually does. Re-recording does not look like the work done by an Oscar winner, especially in the final portions, but still manages to impress. Rahman’s songs which are already a rage sit well on the film, adding to the entertainment quotient. Dialogues by Shankar, Sujatha and Karki are sharp, using proper technical terminology well balanced with Tamil lines. Sabu Cyril shows his class once again, be it with the sophisticated labs or grand songs. His work stands out in particular in the ‘Irumbile Oru Idhayam and ‘Arima Arima’ songs. Anthony is as deft as ever with the scissors, adding to the tempo of the film.
Hats off to Shankar for the vision and the effort! He has taken Tamil cinema to a new plane on technical terms, showing that nothing is impossible. The sets, effects, sound, style are all amazing and good enough to rub shoulders with Hollywood counterparts, give or take a few points. But, the basic story is still a desi love triangle! That is where Shankar has shown his skills; making state of the art film merge with our regional cinema tastes. His genuine desire to take Indian cinema to greater heights reflects throughout the movie. But, it is not just Shankar who has this vision, Superstar too shares it with him. The man whom we have known for total style and charisma has shown that he is game for something new that does not fit in to the conventional Superstar mould. Even after years of stardom he genuinely wants to bring in and be part of change that will take Indian cinema to higher levels.
Overall, Endhiran is a ‘robotic, hypnotic, supersonic, Superstar’ experience, the first of its kind in Tamil cinema and the only one of its kind for a long time to come. It is going to take a Herculean effort to equal or better Endhiran within the confines of Tamil cinema. Let’s hope the day comes soon. For now, an ovation to the Endhiran team, Sun Pictures and Kalanithi Maran for showing faith in Shankar’s vision and to Hansraj Saxena for masterful execution of the project. If not for the faith, confidence and vision of these men, Shankar’s ten year dream would still have been just a dream.
Do Indian cinema a favour, watch Endhiran; let a 100 other Shankars feel bold enough to dream.
