Story:  A dragging tale, the story begins in a village in Punjab. Here lives Harry (shahid), a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Kashmiri girl Aayat (sonam). Years go by and life takes them different places. They bump across in Scotland and the flame is rekindled. However, there come situations when both have to part ways. But not before they have to come together and reunite as one. But all this takes nearly a decade and whether their love story is finally successful or not forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:  The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline on paper and while the presentation was neat, the narrative was not that strong. The dialogues were sensible at places, the script was weak and the screenplay was total disappointment. Background score was good and almost all the songs were hummable. Cinematography was the highlight of the film. Editing was required at many places. Costumes were colorful while the art department was appealing. Shahid Kapoor gave his heart and soul for this role and he did whatever he could, so no complaints from his end. Sonam Kapoor was equally good and shows maturity in her performance. Supriya Pathak was superb. Anupam Kher was not used properly. Manoj Pahwa was marvelous. Aditi was apt. The others didn't get much scope.
Conclusion: As the title indicates, the story passes through various seasons and various times. However, in all this, more than the journey of the lead pair, it is the time taken for their journey which wears out the audience. While the first half begins with interest, it starts losing the momentum after twenty minutes. Again it picks up during the second half but not before it falters and the climax was something bizarre. The major drawback of the film was the poor writing and it had very few chances of engaging stuff. At the box office, the film would have strong openings due to the hype but success chances are minimal.
