Story: A touching tale, the story begins with Subrahmanyam (prakash raj) who is a middle class employee and works hard to make ends meet as he is a widower. Along with his job, he also does side business of selling pickles and borrows money whenever needed. He has a son Karthik (akash) and a daughter. Subrahmanyam puts them in costly school to give them the best of education and struggles a lot for that. However, Karthik is not interested in studies as he wants to become a cricketer. This leads to a conflict between father and son. At one point, Subrahmanyam takes a decision which changes the course of their lives. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a message oriented storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative missed the mark at key places. The dialogues were decent and well written, the script was written with value but screenplay was not upto the mark. Background score was good and only one song was there for listening. Cinematography was the key factor for this film. Editing was upto the mark. Costumes were trendy and natural while the art department was rich and colorful. Prakash Raj has come up with yet another riveting performance and he scores. Master Akash was competent and made his presence felt. Radhika Apte looks ravishingly beautiful, brahmi brought few smiles. The others like Tanikella, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Nasser were good. Murali Sharma stands out with his act.
Conclusion: The film happens to be a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil. However, while the intent of the film was good and the packaging was good to an extent, the execution was not that effective. While the first half goes off smoothly, it is the second half which tends to confuse the audience since it is not sure which direction the protagonist was pointing his anger. Overall, this is a film which is more message oriented. At the box office, it woulid appeal to a select audience so scoring a hit is not that easy.
